Y. students at chapel yesterday, and severely criticised Isaac Russel of Salt Lake, who opposed H. S. Tan-l Tan-l ner in meeting. Mrs. Annie L. Hyde returned yesterday from an extended visit in Baker City, Oregon. She reports the membeas of her family there well and prosperous .vith the exception ef Mrs. J. E. j Hyde, who is quite ill, though not confined to her bed. The sons and daughters of Mr. and Mr. Thomas S. Priday arranged a most enjoyable surprise sur-prise party for them on Thursday Thurs-day last, it being the 34th anniversary anni-versary of the wedding day of that estimable couple. A con-siderable con-siderable number of relatives and friends assembled and enjoyed games, music and refreshments ! during the evening.
