Show July Fourth Royalty To Be Chosen Friday A king and queen and two attendants will be chosen this Friday evening to reign during the 4th of July Children's Parade Par-ade in Cedar City. All children will register from 6:45 to 7:15 p. m. in the First ward recreation hall with the actual Judging to get underway at 7:30. The contestants will be judged on the basis of health, beauty and personality. The contest con-test is open to all boys and girls between the ages of 3 and 6. The King and Queen will be crowned and presented with engraved en-graved loving cups. The two attendants will receive suitable gifts, and each child entering the contest will receive a small gift. The choBen royalty will reign over the 4th of July Children's Parade on a special float, designed de-signed and built by the Lady Lions, sponsors of the parade. An excellent program arranged by Mrs. Zeta Peterson, will be presented while the judges are making their decisions. Ina Gl-van, Gl-van, Lady Lions president, urges everyone to come out and enjoy an evening of fine entertainment entertain-ment regardless of whether or not you enter a child in the contest con-test Stage directions are in charge of Mrs. Beverly Carlson, assisted by Mrs. Virgo Anderson, Mrs. Edna Ray Frei, Mrs. Violet Ber-rett, Ber-rett, Mrs. Vandys Nelson and Mrs. Margaret Angelo. Judges for the Contest are Dr. J. S. Prestwich, Mrs. Claude Hal-Sell, Hal-Sell, Jr., and Mrs. L. N. Marsden. |
