Show Utah Well Represented at National Jaycee Convention; Cedar Enters Float in Parade Utah was well represented at the Junior Chamber of Commerce convention in Colorado Springs last week as the official float, a covered wagon and oxen from Cedar City drew many comments from individuals and papers. The convention parade was Thursday morning, lasting about four hours. Much interest was shown in the large prairie schooner, which advertised the scenic attractions of this area. The wagon was converted into a museum, showing the southern Utah park.-?, relics of pioneer days, and had maps painted on the canvas showing spots of interest in-terest in this section. During the convention, Utah placed first in state publications, with the Vernal Jaycees bt-iig named the outstanding club in the 0-25,000 population class. Those who attended the convention con-vention from Cedar City included includ-ed Jay Hall, Mr. and Mrs. Sheldon Sheld-on Olds, Thurlow Gardner and Edwin Higbee.
