OCR Text BOILER EXPLODES three men killed as result of accident on the railroad salt lake city engineer goodale fireman spear and brakeman mathis were instantly killed when a denver rio grande train was wrecked by an explosion near soldier summit utah the force ot of the explosion was terrific and the body bod of 0 the engineer was hurled more than feet from the machine which he was driving w while title the boiler ot of the engine was thrown more than feet et from tho the frame all of the dead W were ere horribly mangled the cause of the explosion will probably never be known though it Is believed that the water in the boiler had become low lov and that tho the fireman turned the cold water into the boiler and the explosion almost immediately followed
