Show Local News . Q. G, Crawford of Salt Lake is in the city as the guest at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Alma Fredricksou. T. M. Kearns, president of the Gunnison farm bureau, was looking after business matters at the county seat Tuesday of this week. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Jensen of Centerlleld were made happy by the arrival of a baby girl at their home last Saturday. Mother and child are both doing nicely. Mrs. Annie Peterson of Manti and her daughter, Mrs. Mons Peterson of Moah, were here last Saturday and Sunday as the guest of Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Peterson and Mr. and Mrs. E. Cox. C. J. Malmsten ol I he J. C. Penney Pen-ney company organization and who moved to Santa Anna last fall, was here for a short visit this week, conferring con-ferring with R. C. Mr. Green, after a visit lo Richlield.will motor to southern south-ern California for an extended visit. Mrs Flora Moss, mother to Mrs. A. Harlow of Centerfield, left for her home at. Bountiful Monday morning ol I his week. Mrs. Moss was called here on account of the death of Mrs. Barlow's son Marvin. O. B. Larson and family, who have made Gunnison their home for the past year or more, returned lo Emery last week. Mr. Larson has his home in the sister county, and he will follow fol-low farming and stock raising. He was assisted in moving by Dan Lar- ROU. Mr. and Mrs. A. B. Willardson and children left for northern Utah this morning. They will locate at Rosette, where Mr. Willardson has accepted a position as foreman on the E. H. Jones ranch. They have hosts of friends here who will wish them success suc-cess and fortune in their new location. loca-tion. Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Nelson of Centerfield Cen-terfield are receiving the congratulations congratula-tions of their hosts of friends on the arWval of a dandy baby girl at their home. The big event became memorable mem-orable last Friday morning. Mother and child are doing splendidly, and "Daddy" Nelson is now able to recognize recog-nize his friends. |
