Show Services Held For Centerfield Baby Funeral services for Marvin Al-theron Al-theron Barlow, the 20-month-old child of Mr. and Mrs. A- Barlow of Centerfield, were held at the Center-field Center-field meeting house Friday afternoon, after-noon, February 24. Services were very impressive and many" beautU .1 and comforting thoughts wore brought forth by the speakers. Chris. A, Peterson had charge of the services, -url the speakers at the funeral services- wore Mrs. Zelma Beck, Chas. Hansen, Bishop Ander- -son, Leo Beck and O. A. Peterson. Opening prayer was offered by Andrew An-drew Jensen and the closing prayer by James Beck. The abundance of flowers which adorned the little casket cas-ket were carried from the home lo the meeting house by children playmates play-mates of the Barlow .hildren, marching march-ing in pairs. Little Marvin's death was the result re-sult of an attack of pneumonia and he died at the home of his parents February 22. t He 113,1 l,e9n some two weeks and the parents were encouraged en-couraged and .held high hopes of his recovery. The day before bis death there was a change for the worse and the little boy gradually sank, dying the following day. Mr.' and Mrs. Barlow, the grief stricken parents, have hosts of warm friends throughout the valley who will mourn with them in the great loss. |
