Show 6 STANDARD July 26. 1979 Clover club to national tourney Clover Club'i men's softball team has qualified for the softball nationals to be played in Concord, Calif., over the Labor Day weekend. The team competed in Price last week at one of. four qualifying tournaments, taking second place, with Marks Body and Paint in first. In tournament play, Clover Club competed in one game Friday and six Saturday, losing two games in the double-eliminatio- The first snd second pises teams qualified for the California event, in which 54 teams from around the. nation will compete. Named to the team were Robert Werry. Kim Peterson, and Don Solmonaon.
