Reform Group pursues Army drug abuse Members of the American Citizens for Honesty in Government (ACHG), a grassroots reform group sponsored by the Church of Scientology are attempting to contact who may have been unwitting victims of secret Army drug experiments. Reports from ACHG state the experiments were conducted from the early 60's up until 1975, which exposed 2,490 soldiers to massive doses of a potent hallucinogenic drug characterized as ten times more powerful than LSD. According to ACHG, the drug, known as BZ" was used in top secret experiments to find an incapacitating drug for use oi an enemy. The drug testing program, conducted at the Army's Edgewood Arsenal in Maryland, exposed nearly 7000 people to various experimental drugs from 1950 until 1975. At Edgewood, dozens of chemicals were tested on thousands of volunteer servicemen, including the 2,490 soldiers exposed to BZ. for more Information contact Carol Garrity (702)884-749- 0.
