Steven Case took first place and Larry Ivie was 4-- runner-up- . The Ralph Halsteads spent a few days camping and doing some stream fishing up on the Strawberry River last week. Ruth Kofford had a sister, Alice Swasey, and and Napier wife Sunday. The Maurice Millett family had as guests Sunday for Todd's mission farewell, grandmother Martha Green, Salt Lake; an unde and out-of-to- aunt, Elaine and Harmon green. Salt Lake; Floyd and Ruth Haycock, and a friend, Ron Gillman, all Yucaipa, Claif.; and Mr. and Mrs. Baumgartner and family, Provo. e Parry and Zella Grant went to Orem Monday of last week to visit overnight with their daughter, Carol and La Mar Thomas. o Violet and Wils Merkley went with Dell Broadhead to Loa last week to a VanDyke family reunion. They left Saturday and come home Sunday evening. Norma Earl is at home again this week after staying with her daughter, Connie Mullins, Provo. Kim's mother, Mrs. Ward, is staying with her this week. e Mr. and Mrs. Lorin Slight and family and Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Slight and family, spent a week's vacation at Flaming Gorge. They rode their hikes and fished. e The John Break--, fields had as company Don and Lorinda Hauff, Casper, Wyo. They spent the weekend with them. e Mrs. Artemesia Mecham and Mrs. Barbara Wolley and their mother, Sylvia Mecham, went to Springville Thursday of last week to the funeral for Mary Hunt, Bill Hunt's mother. e June LaZane, Salt Lake, spent two days visiting with her mother, Sylvia Mecham, last week. e Sylvia Mecham went to WaJlsberg Wednesday of last week to visit with her sister Alice Graham, who is sick. e Madeline Horrocks was taken to the Cottonwood hospital Monday of last wed; where they made tests. She was able to return home that night. e Laura Mae and Reed Timothy had as guests last week Reed's sister, Mary and Oliver Allred, and Mr. and Mrs. Charles (Alta) Green, Alaska and Riverside. They came to attend a Melvin and Fontella Hackford family reunion at the Rock Creek Dude Ranch. e Mrs. Dennis Mower and children have returned hone from an eleven-da- y vacation at Melba, Idaho; where they were guests of her parents, Mrs. Russell Mr. and Johnson. e The Victor and Or- ville Brown family ga- thered at their summer home in Uintah Canyon for a family reunion over the weekend.
