Show ENOCH BRIEFS jan 4 1916 robert mumford and family have in aved into their new home and are now full fledged citizens of fauch we welcome them in our mist miss jennie and john rogerson co came me f from earn beaver friday where they had been to spend christmas they report having had a good time hyrum P jones left for provo last saturday where he is attending the B Y U this winter minter we enjoyed his hia company during the holidays holiday a one day last week mrs idonna matheson took a dose of in mistake for cough medicine an emetic was immediately given her and she is 19 now beyond danger and recovering nicely john swenson and warren peterson both well to do young men of wayne idaho spent the holidays at the stevens stevena farm there seems to be some attraction there besides the excellent farm owned by their host and we may hear more of them in the very near future the stork paid enoch two years visits during the month of december calling at the home mr me and mrs frank armstrong on the leaving them a fine baby girl and at th elhome of mr and mrs john arm strong on christmas morning leaving them a baby girl also the concert given by the enoch hair choir new years eve was much enjoyed and appreciated by our people much talent was displayed for so small a town two successful dancing parties were also given during the holi holidays daja and many of the young people of cedar and summit were present wm win H Grims grimshaw baw and family were viti ting at enoch sunday if after ter being housed up with sickness for the past six weeks HIS hia little son george who has suffered a grea great t deal from blood poison and other ailments is so far recovered eced ec ed as to be able to go about a little on the family of john M armstrong have been in a very serious condition 0 of f late the entire family have been bedfast with ith grip pneumonia and other troubles for about two weeks mrs I 1 davenport oj part paro wan arrived the other day and is engaged in belle helping a g to take care of them they are improving a little at this writing elder geo W jones who has been laboring in the southern mission for two years past returned home in time for the festivities elder jones occupied most of the time at our sunday afternoon his remarks were very interesting and full encouragement to the saints listened to them |
