Show TENDERED FARWELL PARTY Miss Rhoda Jensen, who will leave for Missouri tomorrow, was the honor hon-or guest at a well appointed gathering gather-ing at the Presbyterian chapel last Tuesday evening. The affair was gotten up by the officers and pupils of the Presbyterian Sunday school and the exercises consisted of a splendid program of music, talks, a delicious luncheon and a social visit. Miss Jensen is a former student of the Wasatch academy at Mt. Pleasant Pleas-ant and to aid in the farewell party a number of the faculty from the Hub City were present and aided materially in the program. Those from the north city were, Rev. and Mrs. A. V. Boand, Prof, and Mrs. C. L. Johns, Miss E. C. Rasmussen, Miss Emily Fleming, Miss E. Draper, K. Throndson, and R. Goodman. Miss Jensen will enter the college at Park-cille Park-cille and will specialize in English and history. She goes to Salt Lake tomorrow and will leave for the east Sunday. |
