Show PLEASANT GROVE ACCOUNTS ALARMING Conditions of the state road fund in Pleasant Grove Is alarming according ac-cording to auditors making a report re-port to state auditor. Accounts show an overdraft of $11,217, due it is believed to expenditures on hard-surfaced roads through the municipality. Every effort should be made to reduce the deficit, they write. Other overdrafts are in the irri-1 gation fund to the extent of $.1,&72, and in the street paving district No. 1, for $573. The general, library, waterworks, , and streets funds are satisfactory. Officials have retired in the last year $5,900 of outstanding bonds, an action commended. Need for setting upu proper sinking funds is stressed. The city has a surplus of property and other assets over bonds and other liabilities of $10,724. |
