Show A Good Thing Well Done. Yesterday Yes-terday the Union Fort School, to the number of nearly two hundred, went down to the U. C. Depot to see the railroad, under the charge of Mr. E. II. Harrington, the teacher, and Bishop Bish-op Silas Richards. While looking around, to see the, to them, novelty. Gen Supt. Joseph A. Young, who was at the depot, had an engine attached at-tached to some cars, and invited the gratified school to enter the carriages which they were admiring from the outside. For the first time for many of them they were soon wheeling out of the city, behind an engine, and had a nice ride to Hot Spring and back. It is hard to say whether they were more pleased or surprised, both feel ings being very prominently manifested. mani-fested. It was a good thing timely done by the Superintendent of the line. |
