Show Changing News. A few days ago the telegraphic report brought word of an Indian raid thirteen miles from Kit Carson, in which three soldiers were killed and a number wounded and the stock driven off. The Denver News of the 14th gets the same item thus: Telegrams received at the Kansas Pacific office last eveuing announce that the Indians made an attack near the end of the track, thirteen miles this side ot Kit Carson, yesterday, and ran off nineteen head ot stock. Pursuit Pur-suit was made and the stock all recovered, recov-ered, and the pursuing party also killed three Indians. We are inclined to accept the latter version. |
