Show LIONS CLUB FAVORS CONTINUATION WORK A thorough discussion of the merits of the Associated Civic Clubs : of Southern Utah consumed the ! major part of the time at the regular . Lions club luncheon imeeting Wed-'' Wed-'' nesday noon, Senator George Jeffer-' Jeffer-' son, Beaver county director in the ' organization, detailing at some length a few of the objectives accomplished ! by the organization in the past and ! the recognition that has come to i southern Utah through the activities of members of the association. In i enumerating the benefits of the j organization, Senator Jefferson was 1 ably supported by L. A. Wynaught, j who has frequently attended meetings meet-ings of the association in companv ' with Jefferson and in his absence.. It was clearly the united opinion of those present that the organization should continue to function and Beaver Bea-ver county delegates to the special meeting to be held this Saturday at Richfield will report to that effect. ' Lion President Harold Cline presided pre-sided at the meeting and others present pre-sent included Lions Murdock, Hub- bell, Parish, Koch, Pool, Wynaught. Nelson, D .S. Williams and Jefferson. |
