Mr. and Mrs. Tom Gunn and daughter, daugh-ter, Mrs. Abe Boyle, of Beaver were ; guests at the home of Mrs. Gunn's ..sister, Mrs. John Lang, Saturdpy afternoon. Irene, nine year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Warren Atkins, is reported re-ported getting along nicely following a successful operation for appendicitis, appendi-citis, performed last Wednesday. The stork made a welcome visit to Mr. and Mrs. Allen Tanner Sunday and left with them a lovely little ; daughter their first child and ail , concerned are doing nicely. Tne son of County Commissioner Frank D. Williams of Minersville, underwent an operation for appendi- citis Friday of last week and is reported re-ported to be coming along nicely. i Miss Virgie Killam is assisting in : the Hubbell drug store, taking the place of Mrs. Truman Bradfield (nee i Merle White) who recently married : and has removed to Minersville. i i !
