E Burns and Mrs Mrs- B Burns at 10 Vest West W Burns avenue Bountiful on Sunday from p. p m. m m to p. p m. m Mr Cooper was born August 20 1850 in in Eastwood Nottinghamshire England a William Villiam and Mill izer Robinson Cooper when but a lad of 12 years of age he together with his parents three brother and four sisters walked across the Plains from rom Florence Neb to Utah With the exception of several sum sum- summers summers mers spent in Ruby Valley Nev he has always resided in Bountiful While working at the John Fisher ranch in Ruby Valley he lie experienced ced many thrills and t of per per- perSons sons finding rubies in the rough J m in creek beds for which the valley took its name he said He relates stories incident to his pioneer life in in ii 1 Utah T and Nevada telling of hos- hos C as wen well as many friend friend- friendly ly ones It was not all H thrills he said there was much of the daily grind of hard work done often with hunger and Mrs 1 Burns who is a niece of the was reared by Mr Cooper and his his' mother when her own mother died when she was only 11 days old Her father died some time later Mr Cooper never married and has always resided the f nf t sam CO t m It r t. t h if at Y VIUl Mrs Burns and arid her family She I states that he has seemed like her own father He is a member of the Second ward and of the high priests I quorum He is and has hs been for many years a ward teacher te cher A farmer by occupation Mr Coper gardens chops wood and a d does Joes many other chores about the farm and has recently been seen riding the mower like T ke one of the youngsters at the farm The only other immediate relative living outside of the family is a sister Mrs James Robinson of Coalville who is 77 years of age Assisting in serving are T.
