Show a Springville To Be Host To Contractors Of Utah; Convention Is Monday J President I Local contractors, a group of 1 citizens which this city may well feel proud of, will be hosts here, Monday to the intermountain branch of Associated General contractors con-tractors of America. This honor is accorded Springville annually, because of so many general contractors con-tractors residing here. It has now become an established fact that Springville can boast of more general gen-eral contractors than any other community of its size in the United States. Springville has long been known as a center of the construction industry, in-dustry, a fact recognized possibly more by people outside of town, in as much as their work is carried car-ried on chiefly in various other parts. However, their contribution contribu-tion to this city's welfare and to that of the people here may well be seen. For more than fifty years this fine type of citizen who have been engaged in this particular line of business have successfully completed com-pleted many millions of dollars of construction contracts throughout the entire west, without one having hav-ing defaulted. This is a record of which our community may well be proud. Although many of the outstanding outstand-ing contractors of a few years back have passed on, their works will continue throughout ages i N s 51 N v " 3 I C 'I J- t ! -: 'I Z J I' .,'. if H. i: REYNOLDS, JR. 4- 1 J?
