Show FOUNTAIN GKEEN Wednesday evening a farewell dance was given no Leonard Mickkel-sen, Mickkel-sen, Joseph Christiansen, and Warren Allred, who left on the 26th for military training school at Salt Lake. The "Wide-awake" girls sang "On the Trail to Home Sweet Home," 'and James -Aagard favored us with a patriotic speech. Bishop J. T. Old-royd Old-royd sang a number of patriotic songs. On September 27th a social entertainment enter-tainment was given at the ward chapel in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Jos. Livingston, who left Saturday for Salt Lake where they will make their future home. The entertainment was given under the auspices of the Primary and Relief Society ofiicers. An interesting program was furnished and ice cream and cake was served to those present. Mrs. Livingston has been a social worker for many years in several different organiza Itions. Mr. and Mrs. Livingston were among our most prominent citizens and Fountain Green will miss them greatly. The new confectionery and Grocery-store Grocery-store of Hyrum Anderson is now completed com-pleted and is opened up for business operations. It is a very up-to-date building and the people of Fountain Green are proud of their new store. Three children have Been very badly bad-ly bitten by a rabid dog. The dog ran into a house and bit one child before anyone could stop him. The : children will be taken to Salt Lake and receive proper treatment. Two rabid dogs were killed at Fountain Green Wednesday. Kdith AndiTson. Esther Samuels, Ruben Ivory and Evan Hansen are in ?;ik Lakp on a short visit. Mrs. ("hark-s Funk of Sterling is visiting with her mother a-t Fountain Green. Kate Anderson and her mother are Salt Lake visitors this wrck. Lyla Hansen who h;is been away for some time, returned home Wednesday. |
