Show Mr3. James Wilson announces the marriage of her daughter, Afton, and Chesley Christensen, Monday, Sept. 30th at Manti. Miss Arcilee Barnett visited friends in Salt Lake City Saturday and Sunday. Sun-day. Mr. and Mrs. H. C. Merz and Mr. and Mrs. C. T. Drage went to Salt Lake City Monday to attend the State Fair:. The Home Culture Club was pleasantly pleas-antly entertained at the home of Mrs. R. Anderson Wednesday afternoon. Mrs. Anderson and Mrs. S. E. Jensen being hostesses. Mrs. O. F. Wall read chapters 1 and 2 of "Our Nation's Government," and vocal solos were rendered by Mrs. S. E. Jensen and Miss Ina Neilson. Bert Ballard spent a couple of days with fiends in Mount Pleasant, last week. He has been training at the Presidio for some time. Mrs. John K. Madsen entertained the South Ward Mutual Officers at a pleasant kensington Wednesday evening. even-ing. Her guests were Mrs. Hyrum Christensen, Mrs. Elmer Johansen, Mrs. Tressa L. Ericken, Mrs. James Johansen, Miss Marion Larsen. Miss Kate Ericksen, Mrs. Joseph Davis, Miss Eva Ericksen, Miss Velina Tid-well Tid-well and Miss Ida Larsen. Dr. F. R. Tanner returned from Salt Lake City Tuesday. |
