Show Safety Program Will Be Topic At Convention "A Safely Program for the Schools of Utah" will be discussed by Superintendent Super-intendent A. J. Ashman of the Sevier county schools at the annual Utah-Idaho district Lions convention conven-tion in Richfield, June 24 and 25, J. W. Thornton of Provo, governor of the Utah division stated Thursday. Thurs-day. This address by Superintendent Ashman, who ha3 made an extensive exten-sive study of this problem will be in keeping with the theme of the convention of the "Traffic Safety," and will be given at Tuesday morning morn-ing a-s'ion at 10 a. m. in the Lyric Theatre. Otter speakers at this meeting will be District Governor Gilbert L. Stanton cf Caldwell, Idaho, will deliver his annual governor's report. The arimjal report of District Secretary Secre-tary B. A. Hart of the Idaho division divi-sion will also ba given at this session along with an address by Harrison E. Merrill, professor of journalism, at Brigham Young university on "Mexico, tha Land of Romance." Preceeding the morning session, Tufeday, a ksy members breakfast will be held at 8 a. m. at the Johnston Johns-ton Hotel with Master Key member Phllo Wight man of Pay son. Following Fol-lowing the Tueieday monvng meeting, meet-ing, a meeting' of all club officers will be held at 12:15 p. m. at the Johnston Hotel with Benjamin Cameron, Jr., president of the Pan-guitch Pan-guitch club, a- master of ceremonies. The Tuesday afternoon s?ssion at 2 p. m. will be featured by the election elec-tion of new officers arid an addres by International President Vincent C. Hascall of Omaha, Neb., on "The Govenor's Job." A short Necrology rervice will be held also under- the diretct'on of P. L. Cowan, chairman cf the Vernal club nacra'.oggy committee. com-mittee.
