Mrs. Thekna Woodward of Salt Laka City is visiting friends and relatives in Taiiview. Mrs. Lawrence Epperon and two children of Salt Lake City are visiting visit-ing Mrs. Oliva Norman at her home. Born to Hilden E. and Roma Stansfield Tucker, a baby girl, June 14th. Mis. Algie Brcwn and three children chil-dren cf Kana, Utah are spending tha summer with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Warren A. Brady. Et hep and Mrs. H. P. Hansen announce an-nounce the marriage of their daughter, daugh-ter, Edith to Mr. George Cannon WUlardson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Christian Wllardson ctf Ephraim. They were marled in the Manti Temple Wednesday, June 5th. A wedding reception was given in thi'.ir honor at the Hansen home1. Miss Edith Hansen gave a trousseau tea at her home on May 31. A large number cf friends called at th-family th-family home. The ycnng couple will make their home at Ephntim. Mrs. Mary E. Oifn. 70, died at her home Saturday. She was born August 2, 1864 at Tromsoi), Norwav She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Swsn Hai.iser.. She marked Johannae R. Jchansni in Norway. One daughter was born to them. Shortly after the death of her husband hus-band and child she: became a member mem-ber of the Latter Day Saints church ?nd came to Amlerica March 18, 1905 taking up her residence first at Minneapolis, Minnesota; thorn in Canada and later came to Utah and then to Fairview where she made tKr last heme-. She married Christian Chris-tian Olsen October 31, 109. Following the death, of Mr. Oleen she devoted her life to the service : f th" church and people in nei-d cf hlp. Shj had no near relatives in America. Fu'ieial :ervices were held Tuesday Tues-day in the Fa'rvi-w North Ward chapel with Bishop Jones presiding1. The choir, und r the direction of Jesse L. Young, furnished music. Special numbers were a solo by Stanely Brady; music by Hannah Sanderson and Alga Brown and a mu'ical reading by Aniebtta Brady Pculs n. John R. Graham gave a eulogy on hrr life and work. Mr. Magneto cf Salt Lake City spoke well of her service to the church. A. L. Carlston, George F. Olsen and B'shcp Jones paid tribute to her numeroy. James Monsien knew her in Norway, and said shei was a faith-1 faith-1 nl member of the church for the pa't 33 years. She was respected and loved by all who. knew her. Prayers were offered by Peter Petersen' Peter-sen' and Thomas Rigby. William E R'gby dedicated the flower covered grave in the City cemetery. |
