It has been the most successful school held in the stale, A higher grade of woik has been accomplished; a vigor has been manifested throughout through-out the six weeks that has never been shown In any other school. The teacheis have all expressed their stn-pilsc stn-pilsc and admliatlon of the students and their work. In all theic weie sovcntj-elght students cniolled, which Is a large number consideiing that this Is the tiist Institute under the combined management of the chinch schools. Although the school was not a financial success yet the chinch donated do-nated live bandied dollais which coveied the deficit. The feelings, however, of those who have this Institute In-stitute in charge, aic that Logan Is the proper place In which to hold these schools; so It is quite- probable that this city will be selected. This Is the II rst time in the histoiy .of the Utah summer schools that two such men have been employed for the entire en-tire summer course. Their luescncc stimulates other thoughts than that of our home schools. Wc have piactlcally brought the spirit of Eastern East-ern education to us, instead of having us go to the East." |
