Show Council Meet IklA Sept 27 Alpha Rho sorority held its Fall State Council September Septem-ber 27 at the St. Francis Episcopal Church with Alpha Al-pha Rho and Beta Eta as hostesses for the event. A meeting to elect a president presi-dent was held at 11 a.m. with a luncheon at 12. A business meeting presided over by Mrs. Shirley Buckley, Buck-ley, began at 1 p.m. There were about 55 members in attendance and the statewide state-wide meet was planned by Chairman Mrs. Inalyn Mea-dor Mea-dor and co-chairman Mrs. Bobbie Long. It was announced that the New Horizons School will be the philanthropic project of these sororities throughout the state this year. The ladies la-dies visited the center and although no plans are deflate de-flate they will probably present one check to the school at the end of the year. Utah will host the International Inter-national E.S.A. Convention in 1971 and plans will soon be under way for this event. |
