Show MRS. E. M. SNOW HONORED AT OPEN HOUSE Honoring their mother, Mrs. E. M. Snow, Mrs. Ella Johnson and Mrs. Ruby Jensen held an open house reception at her home Friday in special observance of Mrs. Snow's seventy-sixth birthday. birth-day. More than one hundred and twenty relatives and- friends called call-ed to offer felicitations and to wish her joy and happiness. She received many beautiful gifts, birthday cards, and lovely flowers flow-ers during the day. Guests wrote good wishes and autographed the guest book which was given Mrs. Snow. Mrs. Francis E. Perry Snow was born April 26, 1864, at I Springville, a daughter of Stephen Ste-phen C. and Mary Boggs Perry. She took an active part in the early activities of the wards in Sprinfcville and was a member of the ward choir which George Harrison directed in the old white meeting house. . She was married to Edwin M. Snow in the Salt Lake Endowment Endow-ment house in the spring of 1864. Mrs. Snow has always been active ac-tive in church work and was treasurer treas-urer in the Relief Society for two years, first counselor for four years, and Relief Society teacher for more than twenty years. She is the mother of three children, child-ren, Ruby Jensen, Ella Johnson, and Edwin M. Snow, Jr. Another child, Reed Peery Snow, died in infancy, and her husband, E. M. Snow, died in 1928. |
