Making sure you receive your refund is not the only reason for alerting the IRS to an address change. It also helps ensure that other important information and notices from the IRS will be received. If the IRS sends a bill or notice of tax deficiency to a taxpayer's last known address, the notice is legally effective even if the taxpayer never d Air War College deadline nears The deadline for enrolling in the Air War College Seminar Program is July 22. Initial enrollments must be made in Volume I. Only those who have completed Volume I or correspondence students who have completed Volume I tests, can enroll in Volume II. The AWC Seminar Program is open to active duty and Reserve colonels, lieutenant colonels and lieutenant colonel selectees of any component of the U.S. armed forces, federal civilian employees in the or above, and a limited number grade of GMGS-1of Air Force active duty, Air National Guard or Air Force Reserve majors, who must be selected on a calendar year 1985 or earlier promotion board. College lists enrollment deadline Air Command and Staff College has outlined its seminar program for 1991-9and the deadline for enrollment is June 23. Majors, major selectees, eligible captains with a date of rank of 1983 or earlier and civilians GS-1- 2 and above can enroll in this dynamic, challenging program, said officials at Hill AFB's Education 2 Office. The seminar curriculum consists of 40 lessons covering command, communications and combat support; national security affairs; and welfare studies. The program is certified by the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff to award credit for Phase I of Joint Professional Military Education.
