Providing the tools to achieve health and fitness goals lies squarely on the shoulders of Air Force Logistics Command's top physician, Brig. Gen. Stephen R. Shapiro. Wellness stations with computerized blood pressure monitors, weight scales and health promotion literature, have been set up at AFLC headquarters and all air logistics centers. Each month, more than 1,000 readings are recorded at individual blood pressure monitors.
