A family dinner on Tuesday evening at the Ed Thomas home, honored Mrs. Thomas on Miners Auxiliary Miners Union Auxiliary met last Wednesday evening in the Union Hall, with President La-RFox conducting. After a regular meeting has been disposed of, a social hour was enjoyed with Bingo furnishing the entertainment. High score was won by Vola Nevers, the cut prize, Mildred Davis, and the raffle by Mrs. Fox. Hostess for the evening was Elva Webb, and she served tasty refreshments. her birthday anniversary. A turkey dinner, with all the trimmings was enjoyed by family members, Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Finch of Payson; Mrs. Irene Finch, John S. Finch, Provo; Mrs. Ethel Finch and Mr. and Mrs. Jay Finch, Orem; Mrs. Charlotte White, Goshen, Mr .and Mrs. Howard Jensen, Tooele and Mr. Thomas. Mrs. Thomas was presented with a beautiful birthday cake, and was the recipient of many lovely gifts. WS Christian Service Womens Society of Chris- tian Service met last Friday evening at the home of Mrs. ue Rowena Hanks. President Farren presided. The devotional was given by Vola Nevers. A business session was held and further plans were made for the bazaar, which is to be held Nov. 11, in the Memorial Building, (details given in another part of the paper) After the business of the meeting had been taken care of, the hostess served refreshments to those named and to Pansy Treloar, Myrtle Theriault, Virginia Randle, Frances Al-lie- ne Bridge Club Mrs. George Finch of the Bride entertained Club at her San-taqu-in last home Thurs- day evening.
