Christensen said the exposition's ex-position's purpose is to bring together all the people necessary neces-sary in making a good invention a success. He pointed out that the inventor, though he has a very good idea, often may know little about .how to properly go about making a profitable product pro-duct of it. The exhibit of inventions, in the University Union Ballroom, will be open to the public at no charge on March 23 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. include discussions on "Economic "Econo-mic Factors of a Practical Product" Pro-duct" by Drs. Osmond Harline, Frank Johnson, and Milton Matthews, Mat-thews, all of the University; "Product Engineering" by Dr. Wayne Brown of the University; "Financing Problems" by Kenneth Ken-neth Handley; Boodbody and Co.; "Patents" by Lynn G. Foster Fos-ter of the University; and "Marketing" "Mar-keting" by Wendell Ashton, Gill-ham Gill-ham Advertising Co. Panels will deal with patents, engineering and development, financing fi-nancing organization, marketing, A high-speed, high-efficiency water craft and a handy little awning device to protect baby while traveling in an automobile will be among inventions scheduled sched-uled for exhibit at the University Univer-sity Inventor's Exposition March 21-28. DR. CARL J. Christensen, University Uni-versity coordinator of Cooperative Coopera-tive Research and director of the exposition, said today his office has received thirty-five applications applica-tions from inventors wishing to participate in the event. He said next Monday would be used for registration and placement place-ment of exhibits. University President James C Fletcher will deliver the welcoming address in the Union Ballroom Tuesday, March 22. His address will be followed by case histories of successful inventions, a luncheon and a symposium. An awards banquet has been planned for that evening.
