Show Canyonlands Complex Employment Totals 55 With summer seasonal employees em-ployees now on the job at various stations throughout Southeastern Utah, the Canyonlands Can-yonlands National Park complex com-plex is currently showing a total of fifty-five employees on the staff, it was announced announc-ed this week. The staff includes personnel person-nel at the Moab headquarters, headquar-ters, Salt Lake City information informa-tion office, Monticello information infor-mation office; Arches National Nat-ional Monument, Canyonlands (Island in the Sky, and the Needles); in the . Maintenance Mainten-ance section and at Natural Bridges National Monument. Superintendent Bates Wil-. Wil-. son heads the. list of personnel person-nel in the Moab headquarters headquar-ters office in the old post office building. Under Wilson are Joseph F. Carithers, assistant as-sistant superintendent; Chas. A. Budge, supervisory park ranger; William V. Taylor, supervisory park naturalist . Ross D. Harrison, . administrative admini-strative officer; Victor A. Taylor, general supply assistant; assis-tant; and Sandra Eshom, Marjorie Foy, Helen Redd, Maxine Newell and- Wilma A. Johansen, all clerks and clerk-stenos. The last two are listed as temporary or seasonal employees by the headquarters. Sara W. Farom operates the Salt Lake City office of Utah National Park Coordinator Coordin-ator Bates Wilson. At the Monticello information informa-tion office, of the National Park Service, Information Clerk Maxine Christensen is assisted by temporary employee em-ployee Judith Bailey. In the Maintenance Division, Divis-ion, with general headquarters headquar-ters at the Arches National Monument maintenance yard, Maintenance Supervisor Joseph Jo-seph Miller is assisted by Myron C. Lynsenmann, foreman; fore-man; Charles H. Gerhardt, general operator; Elmer Ley-stra, Ley-stra, equipment operator; and the following temporary employees, all laborers, caretakers care-takers and equipment operators: oper-ators: Dean L. Hammer, George F. Hawkins, Roy Maki, Sylvan Palmer, Pete Swan and Ward Tucker. The Needles section of Canyonlands Can-yonlands National Park is headed by Supervisory Ranger Ran-ger David C. Minor, assisted by Ranger Philip Hastings, and maintenanceman, Jack W. Walker. They are also assisted as-sisted by temporary rangers Leslie B. French, Jerome Snow and Glen W. Taylor; . and laborers, Michael E. Hill and Kent B. Rowley. At the Island in the Sky section, Supervisory Ranger Thomas J. Bredow is ; in charge of temporary rang-. rang-. ers Roger Barclay, Larry K. Perkins and James N. West; along with David K. Baker, and Glen -Jones, labor and maintenancemen. At Arches National Monument, Monu-ment, Supervisory Park Ranger Ran-ger is Wayne H. Norton. He is assisted by Park Naturalist Natural-ist Charles R. Parkinson; and information receptionist, Annette Draper; along with temporary rangers A. Lloyd Holyoak, Sylvan Lewis, Carl Mikesell, Bruce D. Miller, Fred R. Peck; maintenance-man, maintenance-man, Preston L. Shakespear; and park aides, Hal Skinner and James Capp. Natural Bridges National Monument, also attached to the Canyonlands complex, finds Chief Ranger Herbert R.
