No cost was listed, as the contract has not yet been signed, but it appears that the Ogden firm will do the job, and the time requir-ment requir-ment on it is 200 working days. The work on the five miles consist of widening and straightening the five mile stretch of road; and applying apply-ing a complete gravel base. Paving of the section will come at a later date, Mr. Zohner stated. Projects to date on the La-Sal La-Sal Maintain Loop have seen the construction and paving of the road from the Castle Valley Junction up through upper Castle Valley to Pin-hook. Pin-hook. Approximately four projects, pro-jects, including the one now to be done by Miya Brothers, Broth-ers, will be necessary to com plete the road to where 't meets the pavement at the Pack Creek Ranch lurnoff in upper Spanish Valley. Two additional projects will be necessary to straighten and widen the road from the War ner junction down through Mill Creek, Horse Creek and across Brurraey Ridge; and a final project will be for the purpose of paving all the remaining re-maining piece of the road. No time schedule has been placed on construction, but officials did state this year that the first section, now to be built, has been placed on high priority. If no problems develop in review of the bid, the contractor con-tractor will probably be on the job within the next two weeks. |
