Show DALY JUDGE ANNUAL REPORT the annual report of the daly daiy judge mining company for the fiscal year ending jan I 1 was sent out to stockholders wednesday afternoon in neat pamphlet form says the park record the report is very encouraging indeed and shows that the mine has been doing wonderfully well for a long time past a bank overdraft of having been wiped out since the first of the year and a surplus of accumulated in the treasury in the financial statement submitted by secretary lambourne it is shown that worth of bonds were sold during the year this with the worth previously marke marketed fed running the total amount of bonded indebtedness up to or less than the amount authorized over two years ago the total receipts from all sources during the year including from E IF holmes on anchor purchase account from the sale of zinc middling and a bank overdraft of on the first of the present year was while there was considerable sid erable crude ore and concentrates in the market that had been settled for when the report was closed jan 31 president john J dalys report shows that the bank overdraft had been wiped out and that the treasury contained a cash balance balan ceover ver since the first of the present month the mill has been running through from to tons of ore per day while considerable tonnage of crude ore has been coming direct from the mine to market manager john J dalys report covers in a general way the work that was done during the two years that the mill was closed down and in closing the following facts never before m made de public as given during the year we have sold many tons of our zinc some of which were sold at a nominal figure for f experimental purposes we are now how ever shipping and selling from thirty five J to forty tons per daios day of this product on an assay basis the net returns from which are very satisfactory ranging from 5 to 8 s per ton we have of this product an esti mated tonnage of from to tons in the old dumps while the mill will continue to make this class of product as operations progress owing to the keen competition among the various smelting smelling sm elting companies for ores and concentrates of the character produced by our properties it should be mentioned here that we have been able to make contracts for the sale of both crude ore and concentrates that are very advantageous to the company and a great deal better than anything it was possible to obtain under conditions prevailing only a few years ago As the prices of the metals are also better now than they have been for years the mines product is correspondingly more valuable finally I 1 will say that the mine is n now ow in excellent condition for production and will be for a long time to come I 1 feel that the outlook for the future is bright while the possibilities of the tremendous areas of min eral bearing ground that still remains to be explored gives promise of proving as valuable at least as any portion that tha t has been penetrated now the mine and mill are both running along steadily and smoothly and the next annual report will no doubt be a startling one and a handsome one for the company and the shareholders secretary and treasurer geo W lambourne who is acting in manager john alin J dalys place during the batters lat visit in california has gone to jersey city N J to attend the annual meeting of the company which will be held there on the dinst |
