| Show NEW MINING COMPANY reaper richfield utah L H bartholomew went through from salt lake to marysvale Marys vale sunday he has been in the city since last december trying to get a proposition floated which would take care of the groups of mining properties which mr bartholomew has been trying to handle for the past three years he has succeeded in doing this A new company has been organized in salt lake with a capital stock of shares of the par value of ten cents per share and it takes over the copper bell banner and other claims which make up the total of 45 which mr bartholomew has got control of the name of this company is the revenue deep tunnel and mining company james courtney is president J F fletcher vice president A B sawyer secretary and treasurer and two other directors all of whom are residents of salt lake these with the parties who are buy ing the stock represent a class of men who are in a position to attract gene general ral attention to the merits of the proposition and keep a stream of funds rolling which will insure the steady development of the properties until some kind of a demonstration can he be made the stock will be placed on the market on the installment plan and on such terms as can be easily met A contract has been let for a piece of work to be started at once this will consist of extending the tunnel on the copper belt ground now in a depth of forty feet to a depth of feet this tunnel is well down to the southern limits of the claims in revenue gulch and affords a good depth into a big stretch of mining country it is the belief that the big ore body which has been uncovered in the shaft on this property can be struck in the tunnel at a distance of about feet this will be the first object of development work |
