Show CHURCH FORFEITS ITS PROPERTY Explanation of Attitude of the French Government Regarding the Catholic Church. PASIS, Nov. 3. The Minister of Public Instruction and Worship, M. Briasd, today announced that the Gov-ernment Gov-ernment did not regard the Catholic church as being in revolt against the law providing for the separation of the church and state, or against the state.
