Borah, Republican candidate for the United States Senate to succeed Snator Fred T. Dubois, addressed a large audience au-dience in this city last night. A large portion of the audience were Democrats Demo-crats and anti-Gooding Republicans who came out to hear the speaker, his reputation as an orator being the drawing draw-ing card. Like the meeting of Governor Gover-nor Gooding held here about a week previous, the audience was not with him, and he was compelled to speak to an unresponsive gathering. Seated on the stage near Mr. Borah and occupying a prominent position was Robert Lansdon.
