1896 to Danial A and Zina Wright Morris in Hinckley When he was only 12 days old his moher died and his grandmother Wright and aunt Annie Wright took him into their home to raise He attended Hinckley Elementary School and the Millard Academy where he graduated in 1915 Following he was inducted into the graduation Army where he served 2 years in France and Belgium Arriving back in Hinckley following the Armistice he sold cars for Hilton Brothers and then went into real estate After about two years he became the Case Equipment Dealer In 1920 Harold married Ruth Wood of Holden and they became the parents of a son Eugene Ruth died in 1925 On January 6 1932 Harold and Belva Western were married in the Manti Temple They had 4 children: Don Hinckley Mario killed in a plane crash in the Antarctica Ronald San Jose CA and Mrs Waldo (Karolyn) Harold R Warnick also of Hinckley In the mid twenties Harold opened Morris Merc which he owned and operated until his retirement in 1971 Harold has spent- his entire life in Hinckley in the service of his church and his fcllowmen He served as a member of the Sunday School Superintendency Supt of MIA member of the Bishopric Bishop of Hinckley Ward and Deseret Stake President He was a two term mayor Millard First President County Commissioner of Hinckley Lions Club First Presidents of the Millard Academy Alumni Association Board Member of Deseret Irriation Company Board member of West Millard Hospital Quarter Master of West Millard Barracks for over 20 years He was honored by the Hinckley Alumni Association with a distinguished service award Harold enjoys fishing during the summer months visiting and reminiscing with old friends and his family Also honoring him on his birthday will be 23 grandchildren 28 great grandchildren and a
