returned from Japan The program was remarks and seasons greetings by Bryce and son by Jan and nephews Ian and Andre accompanied by Edith It was a very interesting report and a large crowd was in missionaries told of Christmas in other lands In Sacrament meeting the choir presented a cantata director was I Idonna Anderson and accompanists were Diane Porter and Banks The narrator was Steve Smith and soloists were Bryant Anderson Fred Nielson Meredith Lovell Sabra Kolste and Margaret Denslcy The missionaries attended meeting Clark and I uOna Prisbrcy and son Dale and his friend Teresa and childen Jennifer and RJ came on Christmas day to have dinner with Cloyd and Emma Talbot Thursday Ree and LuDean Sperry visited the Talbots Arnold and I eshe Talbot and family came Thursday eveing to spend a lew days with Cloyd and Fmrna Word was received Thursday Dec 26 of the birth of a baby boy to Gary and Susan Pratt at the Provo Hospital Jan 2 1906 Ph: The family of Grant and Peggy Crane were together during the Christmas holiday Mrs Dan Wood (Julie) and family came from Smith Field Utah and Mrs Tom Bladen (Wendy) and family came from Hyde Park to enjoy a fine visit together Mrs Goldie Miller had a telephone call from her son Kent Miller in Rockford Illinois and enjoyed a nice visit with him Kent is Master design engineer in Aviation He designs fuel pumps for jet fighter plane engines 1L for They have lived in Rockford 18 year many years Kent’s daughter old Miller is at this time in Sweden as an exchange student She went to Sweden last July and will continue her experience there until July 1986 Mrs Goldie Miller also had a telephone call from her daughter Mrs Duane Terry from Upland CA where they just recently moved from St George Utah Mrs Goldie Miller enjoyed a delicious Christmas dinner at the home of Jerry and Anna Bennett and family in Delta Mr Wm S Bassett had surgery in a northern hospital last week His two sons Lynn and Kay Bassett were here to support their father in his illness Mrs Verdella Adams of St George and her aged uncle and aunt David and Carrie DeGraw of Idaho visited in Delta Monday with Arch and Eddys Barben Mrs DeGraw have been living in St George this winter with Verdella where the weather has been warmer for them Mrs Cameron and Norma Adams spent Christmas in Riverton UT at the Mrs Ruth home of their daughter Logan and family Another daughter Mrs Russell (Phyllis) Paterson and family of West Valley joined the group Mrs Ethel also Norma’s mother Perry of Farmington UT was also present to enjoy a good visit Mrs Archie Barben spent Sunday Dec 22 in Marysvale at the home of their son Mrs Keith Barben and family They enjoyed seeing the sunshine and the beautiful blue sky again the was sweater weather temperature After all the frost and fog here in Delta He weighed 8 lbs 12 oz His grandmother Rebecca Pratt was happy to hear the news Rose Marie Travis and Cinday Lovell visited their parents Bishop Lovell and Austin and Meredith family for so long it was a very pleasing day Mrs Willard Stephenson are filling another mission for the church by working at the Manti Temple now They enjoyed a visit in Delta with their family during the Christmas holiday Miss Ilene Stephenson from Salt Lake City who is employed by Utah Power and Light was home for the visit Mrs Kay Mclff (Ranee) and 5 children of Richfield spent sometime in Delta also visiting with parents and brother Mrs Roger Stephenson and family in Delta Mrs Scott Rose spent the weekend in Salt lake City with relatives Mrs Nielson of Richfield visited in Delta with chldren Mrs Scott Rose on Christmas day Wednesday Mrs Marilyn Stoddard just returned from an 8 day trip to Oak Harber WA where she went to help with a new a baby boy born to Dr grandchild Steven A Meyers and Patricia Meyers The new baby is the 4th child for the Meyers They had 2 girls and one boy Dr Meyers has just been transfered and is now stationed at Oak Harber Naval Hospital Marilyn had an teresting trip to Washington traveling by Amtrak train Mrs Greg Stoddard and family of Salt ake City and Mr Brad Stoddard of St George spent Christmas in Delta with their family and parents Mrs Steven O Stoddard Mrs Norma Adams told me that at Thanksgiving time their entire family met together (31 members) at the home of their daughter in Riverton Mrs Logan (Ruth) for a family reunion time They had a very enjoyable together This news is a little late but when entire families get together it is news Our sympathy goes out in abundance to the Lazaro family at this time Their young son was killed in an automobile accident Christmas Eve in Delta Mrs Deona Black was pleased to have some of her family here to help her celebrate Christmas From out of town were Mrs Keith and Pauline Tolbert and sons Gregg and Brian of ID They visited over the Montpellier weekend and other with Deona members of the family 10 in Faustino Lazaro austino Lazaro age 17 died December 25 1985 in the Utah Valley Medical Center of injuries suffered in an auto accident He was born March 16 1968 at Delta Utah to Sotero and Selma Potts Lazaro Faustino was a senior in the Delta High School he enjoyed working with his hands he enjoyed working with also and wood working on he liked to be with his automobiles family and also liked to help others He is survived by his parents
