Show Where Klephmils Still Abound. Through the British Central African Gazette comes a bit of news which will interest many others beside the hunters hunt-ers of big game. It is to the effect that the decrease in the number of elephants, ele-phants, which has been so universally regretted, seems to have been arrested arrest-ed in the British Central Africa Protectorate. The only people who, apparently, ap-parently, would rejoice in the extinction extinc-tion of the elephant, the natives of tho country, have recently complained to the English authorities of the damage done by the great beasts to their plantations. |
