CURED BY BR. SMITH, THE MAGNETIC PHYSICIAN, WHO IS AT NO. 353 SOUTH, WEST TEMPLE ST. A. W. Green, aged 47 years, had alwavs been an active business man unt I six years ago, when he began to sutter from a severe pain in his Btomach and a faint sensation which came on regularly about an hour before meal time, and was not relieved until after eat-ing or by taking stimulants. He also suffered from a burning sensation at the pit of the stomach, and from an accumulation of gas which was followed by saur belchlngs. At other times, and especially at night, he expe- rienced a beating and throbbing sensation in the stomach, as though there was something alive in it. His skin became sallow and as dry as parchment. He suffered great mental de-pression which was caused in a great measure from extreme constipation of the bowels. He lost all interest in his bustness affvirs, and the world looked to him as though everybody in it were going to ruin, hlmsjlf in particular. His nervous system became completely prostrated and the slightest mental exertion would make him irritable and morose. At times a cold, clammy sweat would break out all over him and If he did not put on his hat and go out into the open air he said he really believed he would go eraK.y. He had spent a great deal of money .in trying to get relief, but nothing seemed to do him any good. He had become so discouraged that he had riven up all hows ' ev,or ""Saining his health. An Intimate friend who was acquainted with his condition handed him a daily paper containing an ac- count of a similar case that had hem perma-ntoently cured by Dr. Smith, and persuaded him consult him. He did so and began treat- ment at once. He began to improve after he re- ceived the first magnetic treatment, and before the week was out he stated iu tie presence of a number of patients in the Doctor s parlors 'that the pain or distress in his stomach had all disappeared, his bowels had become regular and that his appetite was never better In his life. In short he felt like a new man, and rec-ommended all of t he afflicted to call on him and be cured.
