Show NURSERY SCHOOL IS STARTED THIS WEEK Mrs. S. S. Evans, chairman of the Preston Nursery School Advisory Ad-visory committee, reports that the nursery school began its 1941-42 session on Monday, July 14: The school is now located in the L, C. Larsen home at 107 South Second East. The following women make up the staff at the nursery school: Mrs. Zelda Draney, liead teacher; Mrs. Mary H. Coburn and Mrs. Louvana Chatterton, assistant teachers; and Mrs. Julia Larsen, cook. These ladies spent the month of June in nursery school training at the US AC where a joint training program was sponsored spon-sored by the states of Utah and Idaho. As in the past the salaries of the employes are paid from WPA funds. Other expenses including rent, food and coal are ehared equally by Franklin county, Preston Pres-ton city, and the Preston school district. Other members of the advisory committee include: E. A. Jensen, Mrs. L. A. George, Mrs. C. D. Booker, Mrs. Ownes Baur, and Wayne Evans. At the request of. the State,. Superintendent R. F. Campbell serves as local supervisor. super-visor. , n . r. " " |
