Show -i DAYTON q, - DAYTON Mrs. Leonard Unlet and her daughters. Cleo and ArU-ne spent a few days at Slieiley, visit ing with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John W. W'aite. Mrs. Lottie Collet t is visiting with her friends and relatives in Dayton Mr. and Mrs. Rex Jones left Dayton Saturday for Nampa where Mr. Jones has employment. Mr. and Mrs. Allen Atkinson and two sons of Pocatello spent Sunday with his parents, ivn. and Mrs. S. .H. Atkinson. Mr. and Mrs. Frandson of Basalt, Ba-salt, Idaho, visited with her parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. George D. Balls last week. Mr. and Mrs. Allen Richman who were married recently are living in part of Mrs. Nancy Jones home. In sacrament meeting the infant s;on of Mr. and Mrs. Allen Atkinson Atkin-son was christened Allen Thomas and the son of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Berrie was christened Lewis Vernon Ver-non Berrie, Jr. Edward Griffelh, son of Mr. and Mrs. Thurman Grif-feth Grif-feth was confirmed a member of the church. Mr. and Mrs. Ezra Wickham and tlieir daughter Arthella visited with Mr. Wickham's sister, Mrs. Annie Olsen and her family at Brigham, Utah. The Ferkins family reunion held their reunion in Dayton on Thursday. Thurs-day. The day was spent with a program, lunch and ball game. Officers Of-ficers for the coming year are Lorenzo Lo-renzo Perkins, President; Leonard Perkins, first vice president; Bernard Ber-nard Perkins, second vice president presi-dent and Ila Johnson of Logan, secretary. Burley, Idaho; Mr. and Mrs. Albert Johnson and Ila Johnson and Mrs. Eurshel Hadley of Logan, Utah; Mr. and Mrs. Alonzo Durant, Mrs. Leone Mic-kelson, Mic-kelson, Franklin, Idaho; Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Perkins and family of Pocatello, Idaho; Mrs. Ernest Johnson and Mrs. Val Weaver of Preston, Idaho; Mr. and Mrs. P. Ivan Waddoups, Mrs. C. W. Shepherd entertained at a parly for her daughter, Ruby, on her birthday anniversary. Outdoor Out-door games were played and lunch was served to 11 guests. The conjoint MIA meeting was held on the church lawn Sunday evening and the following program pro-gram was given with Kendell Balls president of the YMMIA, in charge. Song, "America;" prayer, Leroy Archibald; Scriptural Reading, Agnes Ag-nes Fae Buttars; talk on the new MIA Theme, Edna Nelson; short talks were given by Eva Jean Frew on "The Greatest Thing in the World, Love;" Earl J. Atkinson Atkin-son ''Our Native Land," Nancy Jones, "History of Our Pioneers;" Bishop Godfrey Schwartz, "Ideals of Our Church;" musical numbers were clarinet duet, Ruby Schwartz and Ella Bowden; mixed chorus under the direction of Lucetta Archibald j song, "Come, Come, Ye Saints;" closing song "Do What Is Right;" prayer Martha Atkinson. Atkin-son. Mrs. Leslie Frew and her family fami-ly and Miss LaFae Bennett of Ogden, Og-den, Utah, spent some time at the home of Mr. and Mrs. S. H. Atkinson, Atkin-son, the parents of Mrs. Frew. j Mr. and Mrs. Ellis Johnson and their three children of Beaver Dam Utah, and Mr. and Mrs. Reuben Archibald were dinner guests and spent Sunday afternoon visiting with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. D. W, Buttars. Fred Call, Landell Nelson and Victor Atkinson who are working at Pocatello, Idaho, spent the week end with their parents. Miss Emma Robbins has returned return-ed home from Salt Lake City, Utah, where she has been employed for some time. Mrs. Bessie Hansen of Trenton visited with Mr. and Mrs. Aaron J. Hill. Mr. and Mrs. Don Winn of Downey, Dow-ney, were guests at the Hill home on Sunday. Mrs. L. R. Archibald and her daughters LuDean, Nelda and Yvonne visited with Mrs. Aldora Keller and her family of Logan, Utah during last week. Irvin Page, his sons, Verl, Don, and Keith and his daughter, Thel-ma Thel-ma spent Sunday at Fairview, Idaho, Ida-ho, visiting with Mr. Page's sister and brother-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Bodily. |
