Show TWO SELECTED FOR FACULTY POSTS At the last regular meeting of the Preston school board Vernon D. Jensen was elected to a commercial com-mercial position and Miss Alberta Hill to a home economics position. These vacancies were created by the resignations of Carl R. Evans and Miss Doris Bennett. Mr. Evans has. accepted the high school priu-cipalship priu-cipalship in Evanston, Wyo., and Miss Bennett has been made head of the hoinemaking department at the Salmon high school. Miss Hill is not a stranger to Preston as she taught here lor the final three months of the last school year after Miss Bessie Dillon Dil-lon had aceeped another position. Prior to that time Mi: S Hill graduated grad-uated from the University of Idaho Ida-ho and taught in the Hailey high school. Six years ago Mr. Jensen graduated grad-uated from the Preston high school. A year ago he graduated from Brigham Young university with a major in business and a minor in English. Since that time Mr. Jensen has been emp!ocd i:i the office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation in Salt Lake City. |
