Show I AUTO THEFT GANG IS APPREHENDED AND TURNED OVER TO FBI A gang of youthful automobile thieves who admittedly had stolen 14 cars in the last 60 days were apprehended in Brigham shortly after taking a car belonging to Don Greaves of Preston. The trio, giving names which may or may not be correct and their address as Salt Lake, range from 15 to 17 years of age. Prior to their escapade here they had stolen a car belonging to Mr. Call of Brigham and drove it to Malad where it was abandoned. They hitchhiked into Preston where they drove off the Greaves car and had gotten as far as Brigham before telephone calls from here resulted in the apprehension. The boys weie turned over to the Federal Bureau of Investigation Investiga-tion for prosecution under provisions pro-visions of the Dyer Act. They ara credited with a series of auto thefts all over northern L'tah and eastern Idaho. |
