State 4-- 4-- H H State Ambassadors are official representatives of the Utah program. Ambassa4-- H in public dors represent relations roles, help conduct activievents, organize ties, and provide leadership for all state activities. 4-- H 4-- 4-- 4-- II H H Ten outstanding 4-- mem- H bers from throughout the state were recently selected following a five month selection process. The process includes an application phase where appli- cants outline their idea for a three month project in their county. Then, selected applicants are given the go ahead to complete their project. At the end of the project, a book including project reports, photos and other information is turned in to the state office. During the interviews, are watched during a two day process and judged on their interaction and leadership including other things. For his project, Adair taught the Health Rocks program to third grade students at Monticello Elementary School. The program teaches kids about decision making skills and 4-- H how to make informed choices about drugs, alcohol and tobacco use.
