The Foundation administers scholarships for Native American high school seniors living in the Creek area. The awards are made annually to seniors who attain high academic achievement. Katera Ahtsosie, of Montezuma Creek, was an award winner. Ahtsosie is a San J uan High graduate who will pursue an environmental engineering degree at Northern Arizona University.
