The council is unsure what needs to be done with the document and is seeking the advice of their new legal council regarding the document. Councilman Steve Young reported that he turned in a letter to the city stating that he has a brother who is a mem- ber of the Empire Electric Board. He said that he has no conflict of interest and the letter is for reference only. City Recorder Rita Walker verified that there are a sufficient number of signatures on the referendum petition that has been received by the city.
