Show MORE EVIDENCE OF ELECTION FRAUDS DENVER, Dec. 23. M. M. Hamma, handwriting, expert, submitted to the Supreme court his report on the ballots from precinct 13, ward 3, this city, which were opened yesterday by order of the court in the contempt proceedings proceed-ings against Clarence Dixon, one of the clerks at the November election. Mr. Hamma reported that of Sll ballots bal-lots in the box the heading on 435 were written by five persons. The heading "Democratic" on 102 ballots, he said, was written by one person and sixteen Republican, ten Democratic and seven Socialist ballots written by lour persons. per-sons. At least eighty-one .ballots were so folded that it was evident that they could not have been placed in the box through the aperture in the top used by voters. The expert also noted that wHle there were ninety-nine Republican Republi-can ballots in the box the ppll box gave the number cast as sixty-three. Warrants were issutd against five men for contempt of court in this precinct. pre-cinct. Dixon is the enly one under arrest, ar-rest, the others having fled. |
