Show NEWSPAPER TJAN -DEAD' ( . i i i , , Rudolph Sclmlder Passes Away After an Illness ; of Four Months, . . . After a brave struggle with disease lasting nearly four months Rudolph K. Schulder died at St Mark's hospital at 6.30 Thursday evening. About four months ago Mr. Schulder whs attacked by typhoid fever. After a two months struggle it ,was Announced An-nounced that he would recover, and his friends, of which there were hundreds In the city, rejoiced, but it was not lor long. An abscess formed upon the lung. It continued to grow worse despite de-spite every care that could be given the ick man. Friday he was taken to the hospital where he was to be operated on as a last resort But it was too late and thi end came within two hours after af-ter he reached the hospital. Mr. Schulder was 26 years old. He was born In this city where he lived until 1393 when he went to Silver Butte, Mont, where he engaged ' in mining. Four years later he went to Ann Arbor, Mich., where he spent two years at the University. From there he went to Berkeley and attended the University of California. He returned to Utah in J 9'l and spent a short time at Park City, where he was again engaged in mining. ' Later he came to Salt Lake and started In newspaper work. He worked for th Herald for a year and then came to The Telegram. Later he went to the Tribune with which he was engaged en-gaged at the time he was taken sick. Luring his careT as a newspaper man he made- hunirjda of friends. ' Mr. Schulder Is survived by a mother and brother. The funeral services will be held from the family residence. 437 South Mali-at Mali-at 11 o'clock Saturday morning. The burial will be at Mt Olivet |
