Mabel was born on February 12, 1917 to Parley Arthur and Lilly Lil-ly May Keele Jensen. At the age of two years the family fam-ily moved into their home on Center Street in Provo where she spent her growing up years and received her education. Mabel married Chester Oliver on November 22, 1950 in the St. George Temple. Together they owned and operated an insurance company in Provo and Orem. A quiet, but friendly girl in her younger young-er years, Mabel became a devoted wife, daughter, sister, and friend. Mabel appreciated those who befriended be-friended her and was loyal in those friendships. She had a great love for her dog, Mandy, who provided much needed comfort following Chester's death on January 2, 2000. Sayings from her grandmother Keele helped, in a way, to shape the living of her life. If a job is worth doing, it is worth doing well. Clean the corners of the room and the middle will take care of itself. Things could be worse, but then things could be better. Nothing's so bad but what it could be worse. It isn't a sin to be poor, but you can always clean. If you don't have something nice to wear, don't go. Mabel was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and sister, Allene. Funeral services will be held at 1200 noon Thursday, October 13, 2005 at Sundberg-Olpin Mortuary, 495 South State Street in Orem. Friends and family may call from 7O0 p.m. to 9O0 p'.m.
