T he victim's credit card was then used at sev eral local businesses Eagle Mountain TRESPASSING - Officers slopped several rider-, on dirt bikes and four wheelers who were riding rid-ing on the golf course on Sept. 10. The officers spoke with the riders, in'ormed them that they were trespassing, tres-passing, and tolrl them to leave the golf course. CAMPAIGN SIGNS STOLEN Flection campaign signs were reported stolen from two Eagle Mountain homes on Sept. 16. The sign theft is under investigation. TRAFFIC ACCIDENT - A vehicle going off the road caused damage to the vehicle, but no injuries to the driver. The accident occurred on Pony Express Parkway ori Sept. 13. A door to the home was damaged. CRIMINAL MISCHIEF - The window in a vehicle was broken but nothing was stolen. THEFT A juvenile will be referred re-ferred to Youth Court on theft charges at Lehi High School. THEFT - A Hitachi nail gun, valued at $400, harnesses valued at S750, and a tool bag, valued at $200, were stolen from a truck. THEFT A Pentax digital camera, a Samsung digital camera, Bounty Hunter Metal detector, a taillight assembly, and a tool box with contents con-tents were reported stolen from a motor vehicle. Orem ARSON - Between $4,000 and $5,000 damage was done to the Northridye Park at 165 E. 1750 North when vandals used gasoline to try and start the park restrooms on fire. They filled the toilets with paper and gasoline and set them ablaze. There was extensive smoke damage, and the vandal(s) had spray painted graffiti on the brick walls of the restroom facility. The incident was reported Saturday morning and probably happened sometime Friday afternoon or night. BUSINESS BURGLARY - A business was broken into over the weekend in the area of 700 N. Orem Blvd. Entry was made into the business busi-ness by breaking a window. Once inside, the suspect stole a cordless phone, tools, and a wheel barrow. Total value listed at $950. BUSINESS BURGLARY - A second business was broken into sometime over the weekend in the area of 100 N. 300 W. There was no apparent sign of forced entry, but someone was able to get into the business and steal a $2,000 lap top computer BURGLARY - Tools were stolen sometime over the weekend from a locked construction trailer in the atea of 1200 N. 1400 East. The owner said the car was locked and secured se-cured with a Club locking device. The rear bumper had a red strip bar that reads : "COMPTECH" AUTO BURGLARY - A $500 Rockford Fosgate subwoofer speaker was stolen sometime Wednesday night from a locked car parked in Winter Haven parking park-ing lot.600 S. 1200 West. The thief broke a window to gain entry into the vehicle. THEFT A man reported his electric wheelchair stolen from the front of his home in the area of 500 W. 700 N. The wheelchair is too wide to fit through the door and be kept in the house, so it was chained outside. Someone apparently cut the chain and took the chair sometime some-time between Oct. 3 and Oct. 4. BUSINESS BURGLARY - Officers Of-ficers responded to 485 W. Center shortly after midnight Oct. 6 and found the basement door to the dentist's office at that location had been forced open. The suspect had set the alarm off when he entered and was frightened off before he had a chance to steal anything. RECOVERED STOLEN CAR At 3 a.m. Thursday morning, a woman woke up the sounds of squealing tires outside her home. She looked out and saw a man in a hooded sweatshirt getting out of a silver 2000 Honda Civic with California plates. The man then got into a white passenger car that School auditorium, 510 N. 600 East. Admission is a suggested $3 donation. Dealer left the area. Officers investigated and found that the Honda Civic had been stolen from a home in Salt Lake City earlier last night. The steering column was damaged on the Honda and it was impounded to be held for the owner. No suspect sus-pect information available. ATTEMPTED THEFT - A worker for a construction company drove past a home under construction his company was building in the area of 1000 N. 1300 E. He noticed two men walking out with tools from the home and confronted them. They tried to say they were working work-ing there and their boss had told them to take the tools to another location. Since the employee knew the suspects didn't work for the company, com-pany, their lie didn't work. The company employee recovered the tools from the two suspects, plus a ladder they had already loaded in the back of their black Toyota Ta-coma Ta-coma pickup truck with California plates. The two suspects left the area. The employee told investigators two days later that he could identify iden-tify the suspects and their truck if he saw them again. Unfortunately for the investigators, the employee didn't get a license plate number as he unloaded the ladder from the back of the suspect's truck. PLEASANT GROVE FAMILY PROBLEM - Officers responded to a residence and made contact with a husband and wife regarding a report of an assault detail. Upon interviewing both parties involved, it was discovered the wife assaulted assault-ed her husband. It was also found the wife had consumed alcohol and was under the age of 21. The wife was arrested, transported to the police department and charged with domestic violence-simple assault, as-sault, and illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor. ASSAULT Officers responding to a Lindon residence on an assault report found one man had assaulted as-saulted another man. The suspect left the area and later came to the police department. One man was cited for assault and released. BURGLARY - A resident reported re-ported an unknown suspect had entered his house and stole medication. medi-cation. Cash was also stolen from his vehicle which was parked inside the garage at his house. BURGLARY - An apartment was unlawfully entered and several items stolen, including a Pentax ZX50 camera, cash and miscellaneous miscella-neous items. CRIMINAL MISCHIEF - Officers responded to the area of 400 North and 200 West regarding a report of two juvenile boys who threw rocks at, and hit, a vehicle. The boys were arrested, issued citations for criminal crimi-nal mischief, and were released to their parents. CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE PROBLEM - A traffic stop resulted re-sulted in two arrests for controlled substance. Methamphetamine, and paraphernalia were booked into evidence. A BB gun was held for the owner. CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE PROBLEM - Two individuals were arrested following a traffic stop on a vehicle with expired registration. Upon a records check, the registration was found to be revoked and the driver was driving on suspended status and driving an uninsured vehicle. The driver was arrested, issued a citation and released without incident. A passenger, pas-senger, a man, was found to be in possession of a Schedule 3 prescription pre-scription drug without a prescription. prescrip-tion. Upon a search of the passenger, passen-ger, marijuana and drug paraphernalia parapher-nalia were found. The passenger was charged with possession of a Schedule 3 prescription without a license in a drug-free-zone, possession pos-session of drug paraphernalia in a drug-free-zone, and possession of marijuana in a drug-free zone. He was taken to the Utah County Jail and booked in for these charges. The vehicle involved was state impounded im-pounded for revoked registration and no insurance. RETAIL THEFT - A juvenile was arrested for retail theft and illegal consumption of alcohol. Stolen were a People magazine and video recording DVDs. THEFT A Browning rifle and a white 2000 Pontiac were reported stolen from a parking lot. THEFT A semi-automatic hand gun and a magazine full of ammunition ammu-nition were stolen from a dresser drawer in the bedroom of a Pleasant Pleas-ant Grove residence. THEFT An outboard boat motor was stolen from a boat parked on a roadway.
